Hey everyone,

I’ve been dealing with a really frustrating headache for the past few weeks and wanted to see if anyone here has had something similar.

The pain is mostly at the back of my head and sometimes the sides, and it’s kind of constant (not very severe but always there). What’s confusing is:

- It shifts from left to right sometimes

- Some days it’s mild, other days it flares up

- Recently I also had pain on one side of my jaw along with the head pain

- When I lie down, the pain almost disappears

- When I sit or stand, it comes back

- Sometimes there’s a burning or tingling feeling in the same area

I tried:

- Neck exercises (maybe I overdid them?)

- Heat therapy

- Walking daily

- Fixing posture (still working on this)

Nothing has fully fixed it yet, though some days are better than others.

A doctor suggested it might be neck-related (cervical/tension), but I keep worrying if it could be something like occipital neuralgia or something else.

Has anyone had:

- Pain that moves sides like this?

- Head + jaw pain on the same side?

- Pain that gets better when lying down?

If yes:

- What helped you recover?

- How long did it take?

- Did physio make a big difference?

Would really appreciate any experiences or advice. This is mentally exhausting more than anything.

Thanks.
