I'm supposed to go to Melbourne today but the trains are down on the Geelong line. I might avoid it all together if the travel time is too long . Does anyone know approx how long it takes on a replacement bus from waurn ponds to Wyndham Vale station?

I'm hoping to hear from other Transit owners about an issue I experienced during a recent test drive of a brand new 2026 Ford Transit 350L RWD.

At around 50–60 km/h, particularly under light acceleration in the lower gears, I noticed a strange buffeting/shuddering sensation that seemed to affect my ears. The sensation causes my ears to feel blocked, similar to a pressure change, and at times it even created a mild feeling of nausea or motion sickness.

It didn't feel like a normal vibration through the steering wheel or seat. Instead, it felt more like a low-frequency pressure wave or resonance inside the cabin. All doors and windows were closed, although opening a window seemed to reduce the sensation slightly.

What's interesting is that I've also driven another brand new Transit of the same generation, and that van drove perfectly with none of these symptoms. So I've had one excellent experience and one concerning experience.

The transit ticks all the boxes for me and I'd like to purchase one for a camper conversion, except for this issue.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar in a Transit? If so, was a cause ever identified?
