Photos are taken by my friend who actually knows how to take photos!

The presence of this model is unmatched, it is so big that it barely fits in the light box. The building experience was quite difficult, but i really like how the end result looks!!

Work in progress - 1/12 Sauber C44 "Test Car"

I'm currently building a 1/12 Sauber C44 kit by Funbox. I decided to wrap every part with carbon fiber decals to give it a better look than the original livery, no green or sponsor decals. Progress is slow and still a lot more to be done!

Cockpit. I think the result is ... mostly acceptable......

i didnt realize that tamiya's decal is very textured, which created a lot of problems during sanding. In the end, i'm honestly not that satisfied with the result. Butttt im getting tired so its really time to move on.

How to make decal templates using masking tape on complex surfaces?

Hi everyone, this is only my 2nd 1/12 model, so i definitely need some help.

I'm building a full carbon jacket 1/12 sauber c44. The kit already has like 10 pages of decal sheets, but for some parts like the headrest and rear wing, no carbon decals are given (they are supposed to be painted green).

I'm trying to make templates uing masking tape, but the results dont look clean for comples surfaces. Does anyone know any easier method, using masking tape or other wise, to make decal templates? On flat surfaces it is much easier, like the second picture.

Thanks for the help!!
