I was just in the Malty Discord server and I realized that a topic about Naofumi's brother being compared to Malty's family life is not at all a similarity moment to make both characters as a foil. It's rather an "oversimplification" that glosses over just how different Malty's life was, and that it doesn't really offer any sort of moral lesson for either characters.

I wished there was a YouTube video documenting this welcome back party. Because as someone who just stopped playing Cookierun Ovenbreak for a few months. I found seeing Dreamjelly welcome me back after redownloading Cookierun Oven break to be the cutest thing ever.

Reminds me of fond memories where I cried playing the 9th anniversary update of Ovenbreak, and immediately took that as the opportunity to label Dreamjelly as my number one favorite cookie. So seeing her be the one who personally welcomes me back after downloading the game, and being inactive for so long feels like revisiting Dreamjelly again as a special friend.

To start, I never wrote and posted any official fanfiction online. Instead, I want to present to Malty Squad about my own CRAZY big imagination that's been festering on my mind for several months. Probably over a year.

It's my own imaginative fanfiction featuring my favorite ship of all time:

• Modern AU Malty x Medieval AU Mirellia

The reason why this idea has festered in my mind for so long is because I believe shipping Malty x Mirellia creates some of the best comedic and equally angsty character dynamics I don't think ever exists in fiction.

I like to assume that my own imagination is somehow so original and absurd, I can somehow make it a compelling story.

A story where I pair up a Modern AU Malty who hates her Modern AU Mother. So to compensate, the Modern AU Malty finds a special means to Isekai herself into the medieval world and meets an alternate version of a Mirellia.

Meeting a new Mirellia that lives in a completely new dimension. It prompts Miss Malty into going becoming a criminal maniac who:

• Tortures and humiliates her alternate mother to satisfy her own vengeance issues over how lame of a loser Mirellia is.

However, upon learning more about the alternate medieval Mirellia. Malty becomes intrigued by how similar her mother actually is. Thus, Malty drops her original plan of hurting another version of her mother, and instead offers a genuine partnership of:

* Becoming Medieval Mirellia's accomplice and alternate dimensional daughter. That way, they can work together and Malty can support Mirellia in building the greatest Melromarc EMPIRE built on unsavory criminal activities.

This will lead to both Malty and Mirellia learning so many perspective about themselves, and the ways their own (lack of) morality influence their decision-making. At the same time, their increasingly dubious actions start taking a mental toll on their daily lives, until eventually, they snap and get into a fight. With Mirellia wishing she was a better hero and that in order to be one, it's by disowning Malty completely andd deluding herself into believing the best way to beat a maniac like Miss Malty, it's to deny her a mother's love.

I didn't reveal any plot details because it would take me several hours of writing trying to explain what I have in mind for Mirellia and Malty's mother/daughter relationship issues are going to become in the next several HYPOTHETICAL episodes and seasons.

So for now, I hope you enjoyed the premise idea I presented here, because I was told by Bloody Advyl/StupidBitch-101 and ShadowLight that my fanfiction idea is surprisingly very interesting.

In one specific scene where Malty is about to lose her head. The animation noticeably shifts in the ugly direction and as a result, her face strangely looks like a pig, with all those extra lines to make her begging appear "brutish".
