Paloma milk punch help

Hey gang - Ive been tasked to make a large format drink for a birthday party and it was requested to be a tequila based cocktail. I have some grapefruit and honey black tea, and an herbal grapefuit tea. I was thinking i wanted to make like a Paloma milk punch type of cocktail. Is that crazy?

Generally speaking the rough recipe I’m using would be:

1.5oz blanco
0.5 repo
0.5 grapefruit liquor
1oz gf juice
0.25 lime
0.25 honey syrup
1.5 grapefruit tea

Then scale up depending on the guests and clarify.

Does this sound like a good idea? I genuinely like the whole process of making cocktails but I cant help but think I’m over engineering this lol

Any thoughts/comments/suggestions would be welcomed!

Has anyone tried this rum before? Las Indias from panama

Basically what the title says. I cant find too much about it. I received it as a gift from someone. It has a strange mouth feel, almost syrupy and heavy demarar sugar notes. I cant tell if i like it or not yet! Lol
