Please help me solve my fuel line issue.
\"Caugh\" at 13 secs from the start; two at 18 secs and two at 22secs
Hello comunity! I've bought my DR 4 years ago and since then was driving it 50/50 road / soft offroad mainly in the woods. Recently my DR begin to "cough" - it miss power for about half a second once in a minute. I'm thinking something is preventing fuel to flow - this something could be in a tank in a fuel line or in a carburator.
I'm using acerbis 25L tank other fuel related things are stock.
This issue emerged in my recent ride in the woods. I've missed my acerbis tank cap somehow and about 20 mins after that when I hit the road and opened the throttle I noticed it. When I got back home I've installed new cap but problem didn't go away; I've tested it the next day - cough was still there.
I have almost zero mechanical knowledge and was solving any bike related problems with my buddy mechanic but he will not be able to help me for 3 weeks so I have to solve it myself.
What may be causing it? And how to solve it? Please help.
