I'm about to temporarily move to a state that has a 10 round magazine restriction. I could get a limited mag for my current CCW, but it's the perfect excuse to buy something classy with a low capacity by default. Preferably a single stack semi auto. Trying to stay under $700 but closer to $500 would be better.

Current contenders:

Commander-sized 1911 in 45acp

M57A or M70A tokarev (the only drop safe Toks)

Makarov

Walther PP or PPK

It just has to be reliable, cool, and not hilariously large.
