Gram’s Jerky. Located inside the Royal Blue, Stillman Valley

Out on a ride today and randomly stopped into the Royal Blue in Stillman Valley for a really great lunch with great service. Also located within their space was a young man making homemade beef jerky. Really good stuff if you like super thin dry jerky. They don’t have much of a website or social media presence yet that I can find but I’d definitely buy it again!

Island Princess coming from Celebrity and HA

We're a late 30's mid 40's couple who has primary cruised with Holland America and Celebrity in the past. We've enjoyed both, but tend to lean towards the old school and chill vibes with HA. Enjoy good food, so both lines have served us well. Find the buffet better on Celebrity, but the MDR better on HA. Shows and guest lecturers (we love the lecturers) are fantastic on Celebrity, but the live music is way better on HA. HA has much better room attendants imho, and the service has always been excellent. Celebrity sometimes feels like they're stretching to do more with less.

We're looking at a 16-day Panama Canal transit on the Princess Cruises Island Princess, but I'm concerned about how much we'll enjoy it. How would the food, ship, and service compare to these other lines? How's the entertainment? This particular ship looks older, so may be a bit rough around the edges. We'd look at doing a balcony with maybe a drink package.

Also looking at another itinerary on the HA Volendam, but kind of concerned it might be too small/older fleet for us.

No one saw that coming when it was initially announced. 🤣 Another instance of Javon Bae fucking over the community.

Members of Winnebago County Board attempting to disenfranchise voters in our community

From Christina Valdez' bookface:

Edit to add link: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=122195238140594390&set=a.122110070156594390

>This resolution was supposed to be introduced at our last Operations Committee meeting, but was removed from the agenda the day of the meeting. It is on our Winnebago County Bord agenda for tonight (which I’m hoping is in error as we have not voted on or discussed this item). I am AGAINST this referendum.

>This is an inflammatory topic that marginalizes and disenfranchises the minority community over voter fraud that simply isn’t there. This is a non binding resolution designed to draw more from the right to the polls on an attempt to inflate their voter turnout. People aren’t pawns, this is a very real topic with very real consequences-placing this inflammatory rhetoric on our ballots will further divide and not unify. I will be voting against this, and encourage people to reach out to your county board member and let them know your position. The list of members can be found here:
