Infotainment help

Hello,

I am new and wanted to see if I could get some advice.

Got a new screen for my ‘19 Outback infotainment because it’s ghosting inputs. Following a video to do a step by step on how to replace.

However, I came across a wall with the screws holding the head unit together because the screws are stripped. I’m left kind of frustrated and wondering what to do now. Anybody come across this similiar situation?

First House Repairs questions

Hello,

I wanted to get some advice here;

My wife and I are getting ready to close on a house. Built in 1986, 2nd story in our price range, which is awesome. It received its inspections and we had a structural inspection done and found some work needed to be done to the foundation( exterior Pier and beams). The AC unit needs to be updated to be more to current code as well as the electrical sockets to be functioning properly ( some don’t work at all, our inspector said) we also encountered faucets that do not work properly as well as bathroom fans not functioning

Overall, we have quite a list of things that need to be done before moving in and the sellers have agreed to pay for the structural and most of the other repairs, but not all. However, I am getting a bit anxious and concerned trying to figure out if these repairs are a warning of things to come in the future. Will these fixes come back to hurt us even more in the future and with more severity?
I’m not very knowledgeable in home repairs or DIY and I wanted to reach out to ask if this is a legitimate concern if all of these repairs , especially if the major ones will occur again and ruin our investment
