I built a NS region where your nation's population, size, and wealth are randomly rolled within tiers to force balance. Fun, or terrible?
*ugh sorry, reposting because the body of my last post somehow disappeared*
Most RP regions let you decide how big and rich your nation is. I wanted to try the opposite: in Taegus, you pick a tier for each of your three core stats (population, area, GDP per capita), but the tiers you choose can't add up past a cap — so you can be huge, or rich, or sprawling, but not all three. Then your exact numbers get rolled at random inside your chosen tiers.
The pitch is a balanced, believable world with no self-declared superpowers, but still plenty of variety (and a little luck) in what you end up with.

Longtime NS player here, but I have been thinking about this concept for a couple years.
Honest reactions wanted, especially from people who've been around a while: does this sound fun to actually play, or does forced/randomized stats kill the appeal? Roast it.
