Hello, Im in FYBBA and wanted to start building my profile as early as possible , Interested in the finance field and I heard NMIMS had this Bloomberg terminal which students could access.
Is there anyone that knows how the entire process works? or just any idea about it at all?
All I know is that its in the main SBM building.
After asking for my SET-ID, PI-ID, 12th marks, 10th marks and Aadhar card ( Screenshared everything.)

One of the panelists ( I dont remember) : could you let us know your 9th and 11th grade marks?
A: sir, I dont remember my 9th grade marks precisely but I believe it was around 92%, and my 11th grade marks were 98%.
P1: 98? ( surprised kinda reaction) , thats nice what happened to you in 11th grade ( 10th was 90.8%)
A: ( I smiled for a bit) Sir, I actually changed syllabus from CBSE to state, and the exams were quite easy comparatively.
P2: Okay then what happened during 12th? (THEY DROPPED , 12TH WAS 90.9%)
A. Sir I messed up completely in sanskrit( 2nd language) which dropped my percentage by alot ( I barely passed sanskrit).
P1 : Okay so Gagan ( my name) , when is gaganyaan set to launch?
A : towards the end of 2026 sir, ,I think.
P1 : early 2027, yeah… ( sumn not important i dont remember)
P1: Okay, so tell me major news of today
I was quiet for like 2 seconds, then he continued

( I took a slight pause after this, and was about to continue about Fifa and stuff, but he stopped me)
P1: Have you studied statistics during your 11th and 12th?
A: No sir. ( im a PCM student)
P1: okay, tell me the full form of CPI
A:( I was very confused, it came out nowhere) Sorry sir I cannot recall
P1: okay tell me what a Unicorn is
A: Sir, Im pretty sure its a startup thats worth over a billion usd
P1: okay im going to ask you a question now, fill in the blank.
You ____ Before you prescribe ( Ans is diagnosis, I checked)
A: ( I asked him to repeat it like twice because I felt like I misheard) Sorry sir, I dont know
P1: Okay, you have studied maths during 11th and 12th right?
A: Yes sir
P1: Whats 17 x 9?
A: I answered correctly ( I guess they were testing speed or mental calculations)
P1: whats 2 to the power 8?
A : 256
P1: Yes its 256, now whats the fibonacci series?
A: its a series starting with 0 and 1 , then the next number in the series is the summation of the prev 2 numbers.
P1: thats correct, but whats so special about it?
A: Sir I do not remember the exact value ( its 1.61) but as you keep going further into the series the division of a number with its previous number approaches the value of the golden ratio.
P1: Yes thats true, the value is 1.618
P1: Okay, thats it from my side, P2 may take over.

P2: If you had to describe 3 best qualities about yourself, what would they be?
A: (I dont remember my exact answer, but it was on the lines of this)
Yes sir, the first would be that Im a good leader that can manage a team well, Im able to communicate well with my peers and able to assign duties according to their proficiencies so that the team works very efficiently
And next, Im able to adapt well during situations, when things go wrong, I am able to identify what went wrong calmly and take further decisions appropriately instead of letting my emotions rule over me.
Finally, I believe I'm honest and hardworking. ( I didnt elaborate).
P2: That's great ( or sumn) , can you tell me an incident in your life where you failed, and then learned from it.
A: sir, during my 12th grade board examinations, I had not studied my 2nd language Sanskrit the entire year, and I tried to mug it up in the last week before examinations, I was overconfident and performed badly in the exam. I believe the lesson I learnt was to not be overconfident and spend enough time to revise the concepts.
P2: If you had a slacker n your team, how would you handle it?
A: ( I made up a pretty good answer for it)
P2: are there any medals, trophies or certificates that you’ve received?
A: I screenshared a few chess and table tennis trophies along w some olympiad scores ( they were all before 10th)
P2: Any from +1 or +2? Any Ngo’s or stuff like that?
A: No sir, I dont have any specific certificates such as that.
