Redraw of an old fanart of mine

Rereading through the series and when I got to The Sight and read through the scene where Brightheart and Jaypaw got attacked by the fox, I remembered I did a fanart of the scene and I realised how much my skills had improved over the last 2 years, first one is the new art, the seconed one is the old art

Never really did redraws so seeing the 2 year difference is making me realise just how far I've gotten

How cautious should I be with a new cat around my Leo?

To sum down the situation I've got my first leopard gecko a month ago and my brother just adopted a cat. His cat had seen my leopard gecko out basking from across the room and neither seemed to have noticed each other nor cared about the other. But I tried googling how much caution I need other than the obvious don't take Leo out when the cat is in the room and I got mixed results. Some say it's fine others say cats shouldn't be anywhere near a leopard gecko.

So I'm going to ask more experienced keepers, how much caution should I use with kitty in the room? The enclosure I have only has the glass doors at the front with the basking inside so I can use a blanket to cover the only way they can see each other (I use that method to cover light from entering during night so I know he's comfortable with it) but is there anything more I need to do/need to know?

I am mostly joking but I'm feeling bad so I'm telling everyone here! Basically I've had my leopard gecko for 3 weeks now and since it has been 3 weeks I wanted to change out the moss in his humid hide (it was starting to look gross and I didn't want it to make him sick since I've seen him drinking the fresh water from the moss, keep in mind I gave him 2 water bowls he just drinks from the moss most of the time).

But when I checked where he was sleeping I thought I saw him in one of the others so I lifted the humid hide and he was curled up and now awake. I felt bad to wake him up but then he layed back down to sleep so I had to nudge him off so I could replace the moss. Now I feel bad for waking him so how does one apologies to a leopard gecko?
