god how i wish i could put female armor on my male hunter but i guess the kirin chest armor + bone/dober pants + any open waist armor combo is the best i can do
i actually use the dober chest armor or the thermae layered chest because i don't have the kirin layered armor yet lmao
So, i started playing Arena a year ago if i remember correctly, from the start i knew i wanted to do something with Bloomburrow (I like the funny animals) and i found the raccoons specially funny so i got hellbent on making a raccoon-only (changelings are raccoons, shut up) deck. It started with a simple alchemy deck but then it evolved into a brawl deck that did snatch a consistent enough amount of wins over its life. I made some alterations over time but nothing too major, my basic strategies are:
- Get a red and green mana + random one as fast as possible to get Muerra into the fray (and pray she stays alive)
- Throw raccoons into the battlefield and gain mana from them
- Get Roaming Throne on the field for more mana/life/draw
- Always spend at least 4 mana
- Stack a shit ton of raccoons and throw Banner of Kinship for shits and giggles (busted if i also have The Earth Crystal and maxed Innkeeper Talent on)
- Throw Xecau into the mix just for him to eat a removal/take out blocking creatures
- Use the obscene amount of mana to clone the raccoon tokens Slyvan Scavenging creates for pure profit
- Throw off opponent by making stupid plays
- Win
Honestly i'm surprised this thing performs so well considering i put two thoughts at maximun while making it (one thought was "funny" and the other was "raccoon"), a weakness it know for sure it has is that it is rather helpless against big hordes of weak creatures. It also performs pretty well even without Muerra extorting mana from her kin. But i wanna hear some thoughts about my lil deck :D maybe i'll do a second more serious version of it lmao
