I have been drawing in Adobe Animate for years, and I want to find an alternative
First off, I know this was a stupid idea. And, I also know my drawings are nothing special (example below). But they are deeply personal for me. Since my first child was born in 2014, I have been making small comics of different events in my 3 daughters lives. All of these pages, are on each their own keyframe, and I have 6 layers. After the file got way too big and buggy in 2022, I started a new file.
I am ashamed to say that I have been unable to duplicate certain things in other software I have tried. Those things are:
- Smoothing lines I do not draw correctly on the first try
- Having many pages I can go back in seconds to refere to my own previous drawings
- Vector obects I can reuse. For example crtain flowers in our garden, I will reuse.
- Exporting a vector image to a high resolution in png
- ... and the big one, drawing vector grahics that I can fill with a bucket tool, without using a pen too. I am just so terrible at this tool, and I want something that closer mimics my hand drawings, just with vector graphics
Can someone please help a father who is way too far into Adobe Animate to find an alternative? I have made over 300 pages in this comic of their lives :(
