Purchased a tub soaking tub... continues to leak.

Purchased this tub and recieved in April. Hired a plumber end of May to install. No matter what he does the tub continues to have drips from the drain body.

Gaskets that comes with the tub, tread tape, sealant, silicone or puty in place of top gasket. Nothing seems to work. I told him I don't care what under the tub looks like I just need it to hold up to a 24 hour water test.

I apologize for the photos. Its difficult to take good photos with the limited space I have. Any assistance would be great because im loosing my mild and obviously I cant return it at this point.

What would be the proper way to move this tub drain 9" off the wall?

Wife purchased a tub and I have to change the drain locationg to be a total of 10 1/2" off the wall. Current tub drain sits 1 3/4" off the wall.

So i have two options I guess. Both I would cut the end of the existing p-trap.

#1 -

Coupling + section of pipe + 90 + ptrap.

Or

#2

45+ small section of pipe+ p trap

From my understanding less fitting the better so I assume the option 2 but want some plumbers options. This is an alcove tub but it has a drain like a free standing. Where the tail pipe goes into a freestanding rough drain.

I have had this towel inside the drain line for about a month as we have been doing some mold remediation on the tub wall before I close up. I noticed today as I was about to put up the drywall that the towel is soaked. I put a tiny level and its pitching properly. Is it just whicking moisture from the vanity behind this one? The towel isnt push in all the way.

When I googled a back 2 back vanity they are plumber in differently. Is this done improperly?

Second question..

I just removed this second of drywall today basically to make sure mold didnt spread. And 3 flys came out of the wall. How would I check for a crack? I dont see anything and google isnt vary helpful.

I understand $500 may not be a ton of money for a high premium smoker. However, I dont need one those right now and im learning/experimenting. about 4-5 years ago I won a traeger and I absolutely loved that thing but I dont think it was work the $1.5k or 1.3k the company paid for the thing... It was my first pellet grill and I ended up giving it to someone as the property I was living had a rule against smokers and I was on violation 3rd already and there was talks they wouldn't resigned my lease after 3 years.

Anyways... long story short I now own my first house and I would like to get back into the grill/smoker arena. I was looking at Zgrills on Amazon for alittle under $400 but looking into all the grills they have it just seems very cheap and had alot of defects.

Spending a few days on reddit RecTeq and Sams Club 36" seems to be options people recommend alot. The Sams club one is $700 per the listing on the application not including shipping etc...

RecTeq had one for just slightly above $500. I havnt done enough research but the review ready pretty well.

I did look at FB marketplace and someone about 15 miles south is selling a used Recteq RT-410 for $250 which seems like a great deal being everyone hypes the company. I guess im trying to determine is used is the way to go or if I should go new? Or maybe there is another brand/option I should look into.
