Looking for gliders tall enough for my Steelcase Leap V2(?)

Hello, office chair folks. I got this Steelcase, which I believe to be a V2, secondhand from a work colleague. I want to replace the wheels on this thing with gliders, because right now it sits on a half-inch plexiglass sheet, and it rolls so easily that it's only a matter of time that a minute adjustment will mean a squished toe, paw, or tail.

I got the ones pictured, but they seem to be too short. When inserted, the cylinder is longer than them, so the chair "balances" on the cylinder. From what I can tell, I'm going to need at least 3 inches of clearance to make sure the cylinder doesn't scrape, but the most I'm seeing on the tallest gliders online is 2.5ish. These gliders give me only two inches. With 2.5" gliders, I'd be scraping the end of the cylinder across the floor.

Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue, or to work around it some other way? I'd really rather not replace the cylinder unless I have to.

Thanks in advance!
