I start injections tomorrow for hives technically but I react to anything and everything in the form of skin reactions / feel like I have an autoimmune skin condition - what else is Xolair used to treat and / or what do you use it for?
Hi all, looking for advice on what to do with my money:
Made redundant and will be getting 3 months PILON (base salary, car allowance, pension and private medical) and then holiday accrual payment.
Also have a job that should start 2-3 weeks later. All of this money will take me well over £100k for the tax year.
What should I do to get it down to £100k given I have the PILON payment that’s pushing it up by around 25k? Is it common to ask your employer for a one off salary sacrifice where I could stick most of my PILON into my pension?
If I don’t put the PILON into pension, I’d need to put 38% of my monthly salary going forward into my pension…
Hello - I’ve already maxed all my ISA limit. I have a flex ISA from a previous year and I’m going to take £10k out to overpay my mortgage.
Funnily enough, my GIA which I opened in December is the only one doing the best so far compared to my ISA investment pots (13.8% return which takes my GIA to an overall total of £7.9k total right now).
Question: Should I keep my GIA or sell it and move it into my isa as I now have 10k to replace?
I ask because what if the GIA keeps growing and eventually I’ll have to pay tax on all of it!
EDIT: my job is at risk but I’d assume every month I’d continue to put £2k away so will end up replacing the 10k over time…
