I was in desperate need for a reddit marketing tool.

A few days ago I asked people here about what tools they use. While I did not yet publish a tool I made for myself to help me with the marketing/engagment on reddit, a few were ready to try it.

Its invite only and free now (BYOK). I would DM you the link if you want. It would be fun to discuss with you the pros and cons of it!

Keep building!!

SKIP ❌ Flo Mattress ❌

EDIT- 1
my X post worked. The same day they escalated my issue. made sure it was dispatched that day. and right now its in transit expected by 5th of july. lets see if i face any more issues.

Order placed 7 days ago. Not even shipped.

Had 2 email exchanges and WhatsApp conversation. Every 2 days they ask for another 24-48 hours without even describing what's the issue.

Mailed the head of support today demanding for cancellation

Anyone else experienced this?? What do I do?

Also .. what's the better alternative in the same price range?? I am looking for an ortho mattress.

do you guys have pets?

I went to Mumbai recently and saw a lot of pet owners walking and sitting with their pets in parks, side of the roads, outside their apartments and even in the apartment i was living in.

i wanted to know this because i dont see many people walking their pets often. part of the reason might be stray dogs but i was curious how many people out of the number of active people in this sub own pets.

Comment what you own.. maybe share a picture.. or give out names with the type of animal!

A user suggested a feature and I added it today.

I added a new future today whereby every day the app will remind you of the words you looked up in the past so you are able to retain it.

NOT ONLY THAT
It will show you exactly which PDF you read it and where.

Now the pitch goes from this:

A pdf reader with in-built dictionary and AI

To this:

A PDF READER that builds your VOCABULARY!!

My front-end gets slower if I upload a large 500-800+ page pdf

Some context of what the app is all about
It takes in pdf (books, research papers, etc) and has an inbuilt dictionary. Also has context based AI explanations.

The backend processing and front-end rendering is happening quite well (still needs improvement) but the main issue I am facing is when the pages get rendered in JS and when I start scrolling it hangs.

Using Fitz in my python back-end and ReactJS as front-end

Probable issues
1- My laptop is old
2- I have 9 other tabs opened
3- JS react rendering needs improvement

Which one could it be? And how do I improve JS rendering so the web app doest not slow down.

I built a pdf reader for myself with an in-built dictionary

I started out as a basic dictionary lookup to building a vocabulary learner.

I was reading research papers last month and found it annoying to switch tabs to find the meaning of a word. So I decided to build myself this web app.
I am bad with UI so I vibe coded that part completely. The end result looks good to me.
I also added AI explanations and vocabulary library where all words are shared with their meanings with context (pdf name, pdf line etc)

Would appreciate feedback from you guys about the usefullness of an app such as this.

Future features I am looking into:
1- ebook and scanned book processing
2- flashcards
3- mobile app

Questions to tata car owners (nexon/punch)

I was considering buying a cng variant in either of the two and came across a lot of hate for after sales service experience in tata. Staff, delays, spare parts, tech glitches etc.

I wanted to know from you guys about our city's service centers. The reviews on google for the madri one is good.

Should I not consider tata cars merely because of the service because it's offering everything very well.

Would appreciate some help with this one! Thank you
