I’m originally from Redmond but now live in Southern Oregon. Growing up, we always hit up the usual spots: cline and steelhead falls, Tumalo park, etc.

My husband and I are visiting this upcoming weekend for a family reunion. We’d love to do some swimming on the river.

We’re looking for quieter, lesser known spots. My husband is self conscious about burns & scars on his shoulders he got while serving in Afghanistan and people always come up to him to ask questions. Hoping to escape the big crowds, but a few other people are fine.
