want to know where to buy air jordan’s? (birthday gift)

my boyfriend’s 2016 air jordan retro 3 black cements DISINTEGRATED two weeks ago! he was heart broken. had those shoes for almost a decade. his birthday is coming up in august and i wanted to buy another pair. he is a size 13, any suggestions on where i can buy sneakers?

note: i do not wear sneakers AT ALL so i am very much dumb in this department. he is a sneaker head. this is a surprise that’s why i don’t want to ask him. please treat me like im in second grade. i just want to get him the shoes back!

edit: edited, didn’t realize replica meant fake, like i said, dumb in the sneaker world!

happy rehome! PB update

my little baby was rehomed this past weekend. it was the hardest decision but it was a good fit. his new piggie parents are AH-MAZING! they are so gentle and love up on him so much! and even sent me updates this early on! i am very pleased with my pick and very happy he’s living his best life! i helped him with the first part of his journey, and they will continue with the second part.

homeowner wants PB out the house by this weekend..

this is in connection to my other post.. my heart is aching.. the fact she can be so callous and ignore the fact that he is an animal! injuries can happen when you deal with any animal! yes, i got bit, yes it hit an artery and it got infected.. but i know he didn’t mean it.. he reverted back to his prey animal instincts..this quick timeline to find a new home for him and the blatant disregard of my love for him/sorrow in this situation is being ignored. Peanut Butter, i am so sorry.. please.. whoever takes him, please give him so much love

need to rehome Peanut Butter-DMV only-immediately

this hurts me even as i write this.. but this decision has been forced upon me with no other choice. i am looking to rehome my guinea pig Peanut Butter. it has become apparent that i just might not be the best fit or home for him. as much as i love him so much, he has dealt a plenty of injury to not only myself but to his brothers and it’s come to the point where it’s now affecting my care for my other piggies. perhaps he can only be a solo piggie? i am not sure.

i want to try to rehome him instead of just giving him to a shelter. he deserves an amazing quality of life and i want to make sure that that can be given to him.

I reside in Prince George’s County. I am able to make the trek anywhere that is metro access (relying on others for transport so i don’t want them to travel TOO far). he will come with his separate enclosure (had to keep all of them separated due to injury so 2x3 coroplast cage) and i will donate a few of his items that he enjoyed (his wooden hidey hole, his hay kitchen, his water bottle, a few mats and some chew sticks)

this hurts me so much and that I am crying as i type this but as i mentioned before, this decision was not mine to make and i just might not be suitable for him anylonger.

The urgency to rehome is immediate. pictures of Peanut Butter will be attached. (he is a store bought piggie for reference.)

WHY CANT I STOP SPOILING MY PIGGIES!?!

i swear it’s a sickness! everytime i go to buy only hay (they go through alot of hay due to it being their food/litter tray) i end up spending like $100+ on treats, toys, and other trinkets for their enclosure. I NEED HELP! SOMEONE STOP ME!

ANOTHER UPDATE

It’s been about a week and some change since biscuit got his suture, and the damn thing scabbed over and fell off! NOW HIS EAR IS SPLIT AGAIN! it’s healing nicely, thank god but that was a lot of money to spend just for the thing to not do its job!

calling the em-vet tomorrow to get an opinion.

UPDATE PART TWO- vet said the suture was just to help his ear heal better (less of a chance of infection, think of it like a cast on an arm) and there was always a more higher chance of his ear not healing back together. the suture is would have been cut out in two weeks anyways.

i just wish i was informed of this before hand. i would have taken my chance with letting his ear heal on its own and giving him antibiotics and anti-inflammatory that was prescribed.

welp.. live and learn i guess 😬

here are some pigtures of the healing baby!

possible re-home, in distress and unknowing of what to do..

I just made a post a few days ago because my three males (to my knowledge) were doing so well. I had one bonded pair and placed my newest piggie in his own enclosure that was within distance and view of the bonded pair. all was well, so i thought.

I left out for the evening (my mother was home and would check the piggies occasionally) and all was well. i changed the linen, spot cleaned, gave extra hay and some of their favorite treats.

my mom gave biscuit (one of my piggies and her favorite) extra cuddles this morning and there was nothing out of the sorts.

I got home midday and went to pick up biscuit to give him his cuddles and i noticed he was on the opposite side of the enclosure which was weird because him and Peanut Butter are usually around each other. After picking him up, I noticed the injury immediately! it was fresh, like it just recently happened 30 or so minutes ago as it was still bleeding. his ear is split down the middle. i wanted to cry. i have no idea why peanut butter lashed out so aggressively at biscuit, especially since ginger is in his separate enclosure. i can no longer keep peanut butter and biscuit together, this is a huge injury and im sure biscuit is traumatized! i already called an emergency vet clinic and me and my boyfriend are on our way to take him there now.

I can not stop crying, biscuit is so tiny and as much as i love Peanut Butter, I have to do what’s best for all my piggies. I do not have enough space to make ANOTHER separate enclosure. i can divide the current one i already have but i can’t make another seperate one. i dont have the living space for that.

My mom and boyfriend said not to go off of emotion and immediately surrender peanut butter, but i am just sad and confused and i dont know what to do. i will see what the vet says but i am hoping some from the reddit community can give me advice on how to proceed.

(i did clean biscuits ear with a wet cloth to stop the bleeding and applied wound care before we left for the em-vet. I fed him his veggies and because it’s hot, i have ice water in a bottle to give him as well.)

pictures of the injury and biscuit will be posted.

UPDATE: vet said that because the tear is deep, i have one of two options; a suture (but the cost will creep up especially since he needs anesthesia) OR daily pain medication and antibiotics to prevent infection with twice a day cleaning but his ear will be split and will most likely not heal back. more to come soon!

my three handsome boys! (Peanut Butter, Biscuit, & Ginger)

my three handsome boys! there was a bit of growing pains since they are all boars, but with advice, research, and a little hope, we are all a happy family. (did not realize until a week after getting Ginger that he could not see very well. it’s an adjustment, but i wouldn’t change a thing!)

advice on introducing my new boar to an already bonded pair (also boars)

i already have a bonded pair (both boars) and recently bought a new one, i tried to introduce the pair separately to his brother but i think that resulted in breaking the already established pair. what should i do? i do not live by myself and was told that i can only have three and not four due to the severity of their allergies. i intend to get another to make two pairs when i move. i just need some advice.

Need advice for my piggies..

i came to check on my piggies this morning (spent the night out ) and i noticed one of my babies has a small wound underneath his nose. he’s being really skittish and hiding from his brother, but when i laid the veggies this morning, they both seemed fine, eating near each other. the wound has not drawn blood, just a small amount of pink meet showing. i dabbed it with wound wash (small pet safe) and he’s running around the cage now, but still wont go to the other side of the enclosure near his brother. i have had to separate and rebond them once before, but that was when they were in a smaller enclosure. this new one is twice the size but doesn’t offer the capacity to separate if i need to. what should i do? i’m at a lost for words and i hope they aren’t fighting again..
