To my fellow UK FP&A community I am trying to understand how are you finding the market. I am struggling to land an interview. I have tailored my CV to the roles. But not getting any interviews. Is there something you are doing that has helped you land a job. I have LinkedIn premium as well sent dms to job posters but nothing.
Hi all I been stuck as FP&A analyst I'm almost approaching my mid 30's and feel behind career wise. I am a fully qualified accountant with 4 years post qualification experience. I have around 7-8 years experience in FP&A and 4-5 years experience in Data analysis. I was meant to get a promotion this year but due to budget cuts it didn't happen so I am stuck now. Been at my current role for roughly 2.5 years. Based in UK so looking for any advice to get me out of the analyst title. Alot of the stuff I do is at a manager level, i.e European market I completely do all the business partnering, budget and work closely with senior executive teams alone, but they won't change my title.
I been applying but also in a slump because of my title has been fp&a analyst all this time. I feel that I keep getting auto rejection
