Anong masasabi nyo? Malolos birthday greeting talaga? Sa harap ng baha nagawa pang mag-greet ng "Maligayang Kaarawan"?

Bulakan, Bulacan's Al Mokhtar

Not a paid post.

Saw people rave about Al Mokhtar here, so we tried it. This place deserves every positive review it's getting.

Al Mokhtar is owned by an Egyptian, and his Filipina wife. They open at 10 am, and you'll be served by Mokhtar himself, who cooks and prepares all the food.

What impressed us the most? They don't take shortcuts. Everything is prepared fresh using authentic Middle Eastern spices (some are even displayed at the eatery), and they don't scrimp on ingredients. Mohktar even makes the pita. And their bread is sourced from Manila because they refuse to compromise on quality.

The prices are fair. They have 3 sandwiches for only ₱200 and Buy 1, Take 1 on their shawarmas.

The only downside? Parking is limited. But if you don't want to drive over, Mokhtar says they are available on Lalamove. I haven’t checked.

No sponsorship. No freebies. Just an honest recommendation for a small business that's doing things right and deserves to be hyped..
