Multitasking finally has been fixed, but now my battery drains very quickly, again. I've already disabled 5G, which is known to be a batt killer for the FP4.
Do you FP4 guys experience the same?
I'm trying to build my layout in Vile, but I can't decide on how I want to use mod keys and layers.
I started with home-row mod, and while the idea is awesome, I often roll over. I use Hyprland and some key combos trigger destructive actions, like closing the focused program.
Also, I'm a fast typer (~130 wpm), and HMR leads to delays while typing, which I find to be very annoying. Feels like input lag.
Next, I tried moving shift and super to the thumb cluster, but it made some key combos hard to reach. And having such an awesome firmware at hands, I wonder why I shouldn't make use of it more.
So right now, I'm thinking about trying combos, especially for typing symbols (for programming).
What are your favorite layouts? And what's your experience in the longer run?
I'm just undecided, and also wonder whether it is me not spending enough time learning the new layout.
I use a Corne Choc Pro, also own a Moonlander.
