Does my snake plant have a flower starting!?

I’m not sure how people have the one stock and branching at the top but should I cut some of the stalks to root and make fuller/wider? Or leave it? They keep hitting each other so there is dried sap everywhere! I’ve tried removing it but that just causes them to hit each other more. Pics are before and after which is about 3.5 year difference. Any advice appreciated!!
