Before and after: Plants I rescued from previous tenant

Before and after: Plants I rescued from previous tenant

Inherited some abandoned plants a year and a half ago from the previous tenant at a rental. These babies have survived multiple storms, a move, 2 divisions, and still thriving. I’m sadly moving long distance and cannot take them with me, but have a friend adopting them.

Three years difference

The first pic is after removing the leaf from water and potting it for the first time. My cat had a thing for it and used to constantly de-pot it.

But the little fella survived and here we are today. You can't see the original leaf anymore and it bloomed for the first time this year.

What would you ID this sansevieria variety to be?

Hello! We’re listing some plants on our page and I wanted to get down more details about this particular variety of snake plant. Essentially trying to narrow down on all the alternative names that this particular variety might go by.

Thank you!

Time to repot?

Scroll for pics of the (possible) new pot- I’ve had this snake plant for a couple of months now and I’m planning to separate some of the pups. The old pot is a self watering that i filled completely with dirt and drilled drainage holes in. I was thinking, since I’m separating the pups should I also upgrade the pot?

Thoughts on moving these 3 pups?

While I am delighted that this little Black Sumo has pups, they are very close to the main stem and look as if they are going to be growing up into the existing leaves. My question is whether to separate them now, or wait until later. Thanks for your help.

Help rescuing snake plant

Hello!
There’s this snake plant at the studio I’ve been working at that looks rough. I know nothing about this plant, who waters it, how often, how old etc but I know enough about plants to know it looks kinda sad and sickly. Can anyone tell me anything about what these spots are and how I should go about taking care of this guy? I see him everyday and is making me sad.
Thanks!

What is happening here and how do I help my plant?

Had a baby, neglected my plants. Now I have more time for my plants. What's going on with this one? How do I help it thrive again?

Should I repot?

Hi! I’ve had my snake plant in its original plastic container for about 4 years now. It’s grown quite a bit here recently and I’m having to use some wooden dowels to help support these long narrow leaves from falling over. Is it time for me to repot it?

What’s your favorite flower?

Sunflowers always make me smile. What’s the one flower you’d love a bouquet of?

Sinus Simiorum R979

For those of you who like to collect different varieties of Sansevieria, highly recommend the Sinus Simiorum R979. This boy is meaty. Very architectural. You won’t regret.

This cutting has only ever given me one baby

And it’s soooooo tall I’m worried it will snap any time it moves. I’m wondering if I should repot it or just let it be?
