Why is my monstera prop turning translucent? Please help.

I have had this monstera cutting for maybe a month, it was given to me in water with a couple of roots. It has grown a ton of new roots and even has a new leaf opening! But one of its original 2 leaves is getting a spot that is becoming see-through.

It gets some direct light rays in the afternoon because the window next to it is open, and this is the leaf closest to the window, but this doesn't look like a burn. I've never run into this before and I've propped quite a few things in water. Any help is appreciated, I was going to pot it up but now I'm worried about it. And those tiny brown spots are not pests, they are cat-nibbles 😭

Picture with a light behind it, picture with my hand behind it, picture of the roots (the brown ones are what used to be aerial roots, they are nice and firm not rotted in any way).

Does Bing know something we don't? Oh please, oh please, oh please...

Searched for 'Great American Fair' after seeing a video here where part of the stage fell, I wanted to see if anyone was reporting on it. This was the summary at the top (which yes I know is AI and garbage.) But *former* president? Yes, please. The yellow highlights are mine.

Very first every hoya bloom! Carnosa

This little dude was just 7 leaves when I got him last July. Now he's blooming!!! I'm so proud 💚 He sits in a sunny east-facing window at my work and just loves life.
