Ive done a lot of these now so I thought I'd make one big post for anyone who needs help, so here we go; you give me a name, be it a song, album or artist and I'll give you a stand

But wait, there's more!

Feel free to also: give me your stand user and I'll write them a stand, give me a stand and I'll give you a user, give me a user and I'll give them some DRIP (description only) etc.

This is meant to be one big master post, so instead of one offs I can take more time and give you a better reply, and because of this obviously I might be a bit slow in replying but the trade off is I aim to answer every comment

A few stipulations and ground rules:

- No meme songs or soundtrack songs

- If the song or band is named something in a language other than English please give me a translation

- One comment per user

- These are completely free and that I do for fun in my spare time, that being said they take a good bit of time out of my day so please if you have nothing else to add at least say thank you

- These are all relatively unbalanced as I maintain that the circumstances around a fight largely dictate balance in JoJo's, and while you're free to ask for a weaker or stronger stand, balancing them is on you. Because of this I also dont add stand stats

As per usual, you give me the name of a song, album or artist/s and I'll give you a stand, with the theme this time being namesakes from the 70's.

A few little caveats, rules and limits:

- These are all rough ideas I write for fun and are usually a little unbalanced, that's on you, and beyond that the circumstances around a fight can often make an OP stand balanced. This also means I won't be writing stats.

- No soundtrack or meme songs

- If the song or artist is named something in a language other than English I'll still accept it but please translate in your comment and save me the digging

- I do take a significant time out of my day for each one of these which I do for free so at the very least if you have nothing else to add please just be courteous and say thank you

Stand user: Parson Alan

Namesake: The Alan Parsons Project

Type: Close Range/Artifical Humanoid

Appearance: 「Project」Act 1 is a humanoid stand that appears as a masculine humanoid bound from head to toe in black, 2 inch audio tape, any features completely obscured as its essentially mummified, arms at its side and legs wrapped together. Its face features two eye holes, from which are plugged in audio jacks, black cables spiralling down as far as its knees also ending in gold jacks. Written all over the tape that mummified it can be seen written various words such as 'Master', 'Stereo', 'Input', 'Filter', 'Signal' etc.

Ability: Project has the ability to link two objects or organisms together and either share or redistribute aspects of one to the other.

While this works instantaneously on inanimate objects it requires full, knowing consent between humans.

For example, when connecting a feather to a brick it could give the feather the durability of the brick, or it could give the brick the weight of a feather.

This can only be used on individual objects, so Parson Alan cannot destroy a building by connecting it with a piece of paper and making the entire building have the durability of paper, it could only link a single brick of the building.

Lastly, the qualities it can transfer are innate to the object/organism, thus while it can make an object float or glide by giving it the weight of something lesser it cannot make it fly by connecting it to a plane as thats an abstract quality, like how it cannot give a rock the ability to speak by connecting it to a human.

It's most unique ability however is to link two stand users together to share or redistribute **Stand stats**. For example, in canon, it could give a intensely strong but range and speed limited stand like The Hand the speed of Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

While all this seems strong, and it is, Parson Alan is completely without defence, Act 1 of Project having no offensive capabilities of its own whatsoever and thus relying and thriving by working with teammates, reflecting his own nature as a priest.

Parson Alan is one of a few characters I'm working on for what I'm hoping to write as a fan part, set in 1970's London as the rise of a villainous, soon-to-be Fascist Prime minister with the power to censor reality itself brings together a group of society's outcasts.

If I win I'd like for the next theme for the stand contest to be Horror themed stands.

- These are all rough ideas, while I try to make them fairly balanced, a lot of 'balance' in JoJo's proper comes from the circumstances surrounding a fight

- I dont write stand stats

- Make sure if the name could be any number of things you clarify what it is (I.e dont just write Thriller, write Thriller by Michael Jackson for example)

The once technicolour mural of the summer of love lay now scratched, peeling, each pastel paint sun bleached a sickly pale white and each blue fading into night as it washes the long dead camper van in streaks of sickly, oily black. A hillside, once scenic perhaps, now desolate, two lovers holding hands as they lie against the mud flung grass as in the sky shines a smiling sun, beaming all those summers ago, his shine now washed away.

They found it hidden outside the house, it looked like someone covered it with half the forest, though looking at the state of it its just as likely the forest grew around it. If it ran it ran on a prayer, though it's tyres were clean, or, well, clean-er.

Taking one shaking hand to the panel door they throw it open, exhuming what smells like a thousand years of dust, dirt and who knows what else as from within springs forth roots and vines, a veritable bramble patch that lights up the dim summer night with red as apples by the bushle tumble out as begins a rainbow cascade. Oranges, grapes, red and green, lemons, and in the midst of this cornucopia a hand.

It's practically bone, its emaciated digits covered taught in pale skin made almost black as the moonlight makes shadows out of each manifold wrinkle. But its not just a hand. Following the decrepit limb further and further, past the faded sun dress, past the now ring of pearls, to a face, no, a skull, who's rictis grin croons through a throat made dust with age, weakly, "is that you sunshine...?"

"Aw Ma, you didn't tell me we were having folks round for dinner"

Poison Apple is the Stand of Paco Kittel, youngest of the Kittel family, a heart throb who makes the girls and boys hearts throb, using his roguish good looks and charm to lure unsuspecting hitchhikers back to the farm to feed to Ma Kittel.

Poison Apple is, in a sense, two stands.

To first explain Poison Apple we must explain Ma Kittel. Ma is matriarch of the Kittel family, and is also 113 years old. Her stand, the name of which is lost, produces a veritable garden of Eden via energy redistribution, harvesting bio-matter in any form to grow in its place fruit and vegetables, the likes of which given unnatural life as well as enhanced speed and strenght. In her advanced age Ma has fused with the VW camper van she once drove, sustained, if barely, by her stand and needing a supply of fresh bio-matter to sate her constantly growing hunger. This is where Paco comes in.

Poison Apple is a humanoid stand that appears worm like, its skin being ringed and pale pink, it's neck obscene in its twisting lenght, ending with a gaping, leech like maw. It has no legs, rather it hovers, its upper body snaking and crawling around a hovering green apple from which it resides.

Poison Apple's ability allows it to connect two items or organisms together, creating a symbiotic link between the two, one being deemed the 'mother' object and the other being the 'son'. The further the 'son' object gets from the 'mother'object the more it will begin to deteriorate, with enough distance resulting in complete destruction of the son, dependant on the object. For example, if two apples were connected it may take as little as a foot or two to destroy the son, but if it were an entire skyscraper as the son as a penny as the mother it may take a continent.

Paco uses this on victims, designatinf them the Son and himself the mother as, inevitably, they run screaming for their lives and perish in the process.

Thanks for reading folks! This is the first in a series of characters I'm writing mainly for fun. I've take part in a few RP servers and being obsessed with horror I've always wanted to write an enemy team fo stand users who all revolve around horror, so my next characters will either be members of the Kittel family or other horror based stand users. Any critique as always is much appreciated.

What with there only being so many albums I thought I'd create a master list of films that scratch that Uncle Acid itch. This is mainly films that have direct influence or parallels in their work or are within the same genre and fit the aesthetic. Feel free to comment any reccomendations and I'll try to continually update the list.

Psychomania - 1970's bikersploitation movie about a biker leader with a family of Satanists who gain immortality through suicide. Great 70's soundtrack (love that pipe organ), not really a horror as its billed but it has a great sense of black humour

Witchfinder General - Vincent Price as the titular and historic Witchfinder General Matthew Hopkins, honestly you could put this on and play Bloodlust in the background and have a pretty good time, very much informed that album story wise

Don't Torture A Duckling - For my money the best Giallo film and while it didn't really inform much of Nell Ora Blu I still think its worth watching for its own merits

Blood and Black Lace - One of the most famous giallos about a string of murders in a fashion house. Features a great jazzy score that you definitely see bits and pieces of in tracks like Il gatto morto

*Last House on the Left* - An exceptionally bleak video nasty from director Wes Craven of Nightmare on Elm Street fame, it doesn't really reflect any particular album but the aesthetic of it, with its sleazy 70's exploitation vibe, is definitely a vibe if you're looking for something Uncle Acid-esque, that being said its not for the faint of heart

Mark of the Devil* - Another movie about Witchdinder Generals, most notable for the Bloodlust album being a direct copy of this movie's poster

The works of Dario Argento - While not one film stands out his contributions to Giallo as a genre can't be measured, so see; Deep Red, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Phenomena, Tenebrae and of course Suspiria, which I list more for the influence of Goblin's soundtrack to Uncle Acid more than anything

Edit: Can people please start adding a descriptor to the stand name please, every now and then I might take lyrical and thematic inspiration from whatever the stand is named after and I can't do that if I have no idea what the stand name is specifically supposed to be
