Picked it up two weeks ago, and it's been crazy to think, even if it's a GT, that little kid now grown up me finally gets to own something like this. Plan is to turn the old Gran Turismo memories into real ones and get it, and myself, to enjoy as many tracks as I can. Luckily Dominion Raceway is quite close by, and VIR within a reasonable drive. But for now, here she sits to just have fun with in general.
iPod got dropped and killed the original hard drive, so replaced it with the iFlash Quad. Have tried three different micro SD cards with it, and for all three I'm given Error 1439 when attempting to restore it in iTunes. When running AOMEI Partition Assistant, I'm met with "Sorry, the current operation has been canceled! Information Code : 102. Description : Certain bad sector exists in DBR."
I've since also replaced the ribbon cable to it with the iFlash cable to verify that the cable isn't damaged when replacing. Not sure if it's important or normal, but when I try using the cards in slot 2-4, with nothing in 1, it reads the incorrect size for the SD cards. Reads the correct size in slot 1, but always met with the above errors. Have tried reseating the ribbon cable on both ends multiple times to no avail. It feels like it has good engagement before locking down. If left loose it does immediately meet me with the Red X instead of showing the restore in iTunes screen.
