Those wild hairstyles. Those painted faces. Then the Pink Panthers show up.

Made these after thinking about the sounds you recognize immediately: a tap-tap horn, dominoes hitting the table, a machann calling across the market, and kompa coming through somebody else’s window.

Haitian communities online are spread across group chats, social media pages, and different apps. Good conversations disappear quickly, local events are easy to miss, and finding Haitian businesses or organizations can take more work than it should.

That’s why I’ve been working on Forum Diaspora.

It brings community discussions, events, local directories, and Haitian stories together in one place. It’s still growing, and I’d genuinely like honest feedback from the community.
