Alternative cycle route to Watton Road/B1108

My child starts nursery soon at the Children's Garden and I'm planning on cycling him there on a cargo bike, then continuing on to the hospital where I work. I'm a bit concerned that this stretch of the route is a bit dangerous on bike. There is only a narrow gravel path which I might have to use as a last resort, but I wondered if anyone knows any other routes that don't show up on Google maps? I'd be coming from the golden triangle area. Thanks!

The house we are buying at £635,000 has been valued by our surveyor at £530,000. We originally offered asking price of £625,000 but the vendor wanted more and we didn't want to lose out again (4th house we've offered on since January) so went up by £10k. Got a valuation with our level 2 RICS survey just to make sure we weren't overpaying. Wasn't expecting such a significant difference however!!

Not sure what to do because it's not exactly our dream home but it's fine and we love the location. Two houses we loved and offered on were taken off the market because the vendors couldn't find an onward purchase. The third one we lost to a chain free FTB.

The survey report itself inevitably came up with some issues but nothing that would be a complete dealbreaker.

Our solicitor is away which is why I'm looking for some general Reddit opinions before we decide anything.

We had our offer accepted 6 weeks ago so we've got a bit of time and money invested but I'd rather we don't end up regretting our purchase. Since our offer was accepted we have also come into a fair bit of money through inheritance and are thinking maybe we should look for somewhere a bit nicer with the extra money? What would you do? Is the difference in value significant enough to walk away?
