I saw somebody post a normal "truth nuke" image with Mikoto on it, and it inspired me to go the extra mile and try and make a g-bomb version of it in gimp.

I like Mikoto :D

I've been slowly working on my custom Akla-Carti for a bit now, and even though I'm not entirely finished putting her together, I have the general idea of how her silhouette is going to look now, so now I'm thinking of color.

I've been thinking I'll stick with a red for the primary color, but I'm not sure what I'd like to do for the secondary (white parts) and many of the currently black parts.

I have played around a little with what I might do for the leg boosters in Gimp, but I'm not aure about keeping black as a color. I'm open to suggestions!

I've come to the unfortunate realization that two part packs I intended to use together to give my next Sister build cool 30MM legs will not work out after all due to an oversight on my part: Though I have compatible legs and thigh pieces, neither part pack comes with the joint that connects them at the knee!

Now I'm on the lookout for a joint that will work for this, preferably in some sorts of parts pack, because I don't want to handicap another 30MM build by stealing its knees...

A short while ago I saw an image of Rydira and knew I had to get her! I picked up both her and the Mechanical Unit parts set.

I saw some unpainted examples and knew I didn't really care for the didn't care for the main color on her, though, so I hopped down to a local hobby shop and picked up some turquoise paint, as well as some white (both acrylic).

I also tried to do some panel lining with an archival ink pen I had, but I don't have the steadiest of hands.

I already have my mind set on learning painting better and doing a custom build next!
