Charting at 4 am gone wrong

I was like: "yeah, I hate the stupid left-right, right-left straight line pattern in beginning, so let's liven up the chart!". not only it was 2 am when I thought that, but I think this is a little too much (maybe not..?). also kept the arcade movement in check yipeee

Just imagine...

warning, 3 am thoughts, you can ignore the rambling, but...

what if we made some website (I'm not sure if that exists right now), where people could submit their best scores to their profile. then each score gets a certain rating, based on the difficulty of the song. like maybe we can invent some 4-5 categories(stamina, reading, rhythm, multi etc etc) and then apply them to most of the charts. take a total grade(standard, great, excellent, perfect), get a raw difficulty of the map, based on the points attached to it, make a magic formula out of it - and yea, we got ourselves a whole scoring system. then you can probably make a leaderboard of active players - that would be fun. make a "song of the day" kind of stuff - players would try to set the best score. now make different song of the day in 4 skill levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert (change the names if you want) - and that would ensure that everyone gets to participate. or just scratch all of this and pick 1 song but make separate easy-normal-hard-extreme leaderboards. maybe page with the recently made charts, too...

^ this looks promising, but i see some problems. like how do we separate something we can actually rank from something pure memey 3000 bpm spam impossible kind of chart. we can't force diva's arcade rules, since the charts already say "screw you!" to some of them. also the whole scoring of the charts is time-consuming, but granted enough time - this can actually be cool. it's not too terribly hard to code, but god it's hard to design properly in all ways: from user-page experience to the whole ranking scores stuff.

today, for the first time ever I have downloaded the madman song pack. I don't know how much cocaine did the charters take, 'cause only psychos could make those charts. but oh boy, the real madness comes when you try to perfect these...
I spent 3 hours trying to do Hyuudoro, which took me about 30 minutes to learn. this whole crap is the definition of mindblock. hyuudoro hyuudoro hyuudororo

title said it all and this pattern is by far the worst. how the hell are you supposed to hit this 7 seconds non-stop. my hands just don't cooperate with me, even though i figured this washing machine crap out LOL
