I have booked an orca & whale viewing trip in Alta for early january, does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the likelihood of a sighting id love to hear.
Also would reallty appreciate any ideas of things i can do around my trip and just advice in general. Thank you !
I’ve recently graduated in mechanical engineering with a first class bachelors in the UK from a mid table university.
After graduating, I applied for around 50 jobs directly related to mech but got no interviews( only even heard back from 3).
Someone directly messaged me offering a job as a junior commissioning engineer. I went in and the work was fairly easy and mildly interesting.
The job pays minimum wage to begin with.
From what I can see the job doesn’t necessarily require a degree, so I’m a little worried that I might be settling for too little.
However, from my and my peers experience with how competitive the job market is I’m thinking about taking it regardless.
Does anyone have any experience in the field/ role? Does it have good prospects? Did you do it with a degree ?
