Hey guys, I wanted to share my latest design for the Silverback TAC-41. I designed it from scratch in Onshape to make sure it functions perfectly.

Key Features:

  • Integrated Outer Barrel Guide: Ensures 100% axial alignment with the barrel. Zero wobble and absolutely no BB clipping.
  • Silverback Foam Support: Internal dimensions are tailored to fit genuine foam inserts tightly.
  • Two-Piece Threaded Design: Caps print clean without ruining the hexagonal outer aesthetic.

Print Specs (Included in the 3MF profile):

  • Material: PETG
  • Layer Height: 0.08mm (High Quality) for flawless threads and hex details.
  • Walls: 6 perimeters for heavy-duty outdoor durability.
  • Optimized with Adaptive Layer Height: The profile is set to 0.08mm High Quality as base, but uses Adaptive Layer Height. This ensures that the fine threads (top and bottom) are printed with maximum precision at 0.08mm for a perfect fit on the barrel, while the main hex body prints faster without losing any visual quality.
