I have an es210x-m2 in my office. Runs great. Ran a cable from an older Sonos play 3 to it the other day and immediately the switch crashes. Any thoughts as to why?

This is my old car. Not sure if anyone has any desire to save it. Not my wreck, but apparently the owner after me couldn’t keep it straight.
