Why are they so cute?

My jerk face is 8 months. They're so cute even when pooping.

Scared of bridges 😞

He was okay with this bridge when he was younger. Almost 8 months old and in his fear period of bridges and scary metal plates. 🫠

What's it like adding a 2nd Shiba? (Advice please)

Just a little backstory on my own Shiba first, I think I currently have a unicorn 6.5 month puppy who hasn't really destroyed furniture (ie. Chewing up couches, chairs, wooden legs). He also hasn't tried or attempted to escape his living room play pen. (Yes, he has access to the entire living room since 2 months old). Whenever I go do stuff outside the area, he just squishes his face between the bars. He does become needy at times but has started to work around my schedule. I also WFH so I spend at least 16 hrs with my puppers (my office is in the living room).

He does need a lot of work on leash and dog neutrality but other than that... He's great.

Now, my situation is that I have a lovely opportunity to adopt a Shiba from a family friend. This Shiba is a neutered possibly 2+ years old. Per what I have been told is that they no longer have time for her. I've added her photo as dog tax. I haven't had a chance to do a meet and greet yet. I also have a good friend who has been looking to adopt a Shiba for a long time as well. So, no, she will NOT be going to the shelter.

My question to redditors, how was it like bringing in a 2nd Shiba into the pack? How is the work load? What are things I would probably expect? Is it worth it? What was the introduction like? Could you tell me about your experience?

6 month old Shiba still looks fluffy

I've noticed a lot of shibas at this age usually look lanky or have their puppy uglies. Maybe mine is still growing? I notice he does have a lot of neck fluff. No, he doesn't feel overweight because I can still feel his ribs when I lightly run my fingers. He's got curves.

Or maybe he just looks strikingly handsome in his puppy uglies. Maybe I'm just paranoid... And he looks normal.

2 months vs 6 months... I miss the potato body

I miss the tiny stubby legs. I don't miss the potty training phase. And the teenager phase is whatever.

. Got himself tangled, got quiet and accepted his fate but made sure I was guilty for not untangling him sooner...
