Oxygen management in SNF - FL

Question! We’ve always been able to manage oxygen tanks in SNF world in FL and now I’m at a new SNF and they say it’s a new Florida law that it has been deemed a medication and we cannot manage it, only nurses. Does anyone know if this is true and have the bill or article that states so?

Cycles

I’m trying to plan my breedings when my does are ready by checking their vulva. I’ve checked almost every day in the last week or so and pale pink is the only color I see in two does. I read that it could be every 15 days so I could be checking at an off time but dang! I’m ready for them lol could the heat be a factor too? Is there anything I can do to help?

Breeding for selling only?

So my boyfriend is very adamant NOW after I have paid a lot of money and put a lot of time in to get my set up going to be against the rabbit breeding for meat. He doesn’t want it to be a part of our lifestyle (granted we don’t even live together for other reasons) so I am hoping to keep the rabbits but sell them for other breeders or pets. How successful is that route? I only have two females and one male so breeding maybe 4 times per year.

Is it worth staying? 35F 36 M been dating for almost 2 years

35F 36 M been dating for almost 2 years and in separate houses. We both own houses in neighboring cities. We don’t really want kids but I do want to live together but it’s very wishy washy from his side. He also has a master bathroom that he’s been in the middle of remodeling for almost a year now. He’s not motivated to do it, he works on it on and off. Doesn’t want to hire anyone because he says he doesn’t have the money for it. BUT just bought a truck (5,500) says it was a nostalgia thing and it’s a collectible but also another project because it needs an engine. I’m open to moving into the house with him, even though it’s not my favorite house (it’s old and needs work), but for him I would do it. He just is showing no desire to get the bathroom done for the future of our relationship. On top of it, we work completely opposite schedules so we spend a lot of time apart which is fine, we’re both independent, but he is constantly just saying he likes his alone time and that’s not going to change.

While writing this, I realize that there may not be a future here, at least one that I guess I’m looking for. I want to be with someone who wants to live life with me and wants to be with me. I feel like most men who know they want to be with a woman, do whatever it takes to make it happen. I’m so sad to realize this because we are good together and I think have similar beliefs about life but maybe not the trajectory. It’s sad.

Not sure mama is feeding kits

I’m in Florida and so I’m shelving the kits during the day. I take them out around 7:30am (before work) and bring them back out around 6pm because it’s just sooo hot. I lost two kits day two when it was super hot so I’m trying not to take the chance. My issue is that I’m not sure if she’s nursing them now. I have a camera on her and checked all the footage thru the night and didn’t see any nursing. Two seem to have somewhat larger bellies but one didn’t so I put him up to her while holding her. Now this afternoon, all of their bellies look a bit wrinkly. When should I be concerned about her nursing and is it okay if I just hold her and let the kit suckle?

Thanks!

Lost two babies

Mama had 5, lost two today, 2 days old. It’s hot in Florida. Is it ok for a fan to be on them or no? The other three are wiggling out of the fur to cool down but I don’t know if it’s ok for them for a fan to be on them a little bit ?

Grow out cage

I like making all wire cages so I’m curious if I can do 1 x 2” walls for grow outs? I don’t think I’d need baby saver for grow outs because they would be at least 4-6 weeks old at that point but I’m still a newbie so making sure I get the right material. Thanks!

Two does one buck

I bred one of my does today. My question is should I breed my other now as well? This is everyone’s first go and it was successful today so would it be best for both to be bred so there’s hopefully at least one mom that can care for the kits if one isn’t a good mom? What’s everyone’s experience?
