things to look for during an interview

Hey guys! I posted on here about a week or so ago that i got let go from my last job (may have actually been on my burner account idk)

Well o have 4 interviews lined up at different offices.. and I’m curious as to what are thing you guys look for as potential RED FLAGS and GREEN FLAGS.. I’m still pretty new into dental assisting so I’m too sure. Unfortunately for my last job I didn’t get training at all and it was a lot of me following around someone who was supposed to train me but didn’t.. thank you guys in advance!! I’m a really fast learner so a few offices I applied for was

- endo
- ortho
-general

Literally anything at this point..

first time in the ocean

Never really been to the beach as a child, finally went to the beach and got hip level in the water as a RBKA.. super thankful my boyfriend and his family were here to help bring me in.

Last couple weeks in this leg before my new one so o figured why not!!

Got fired

Not even 1 month in I got fired from my job.. really upset and beating myself up. I was told I’m not getting it quick enough.. but I really wasn’t even properly trained. I would often go into work having to ask who I’m shadowing every single day. Starting to think dental isn’t for me anymore. Despite having 1.6 years of experience

Leg cover recommendations??

Hey everybody,

I am probably going to be going on a beach trip with my boyfriend at the end of this month. I am in the process of getting a new leg anyways however, I’m looking for recommendations on covers to protect my leg while I’m at the beach so the sand won’t ruin it.. I haven’t went to a beach in years, the last time o did I had a cover already added onto my leg but i don’t have that style anymore. Thank you guys in advance!!

Also o should add, I’m pretty short too so something that would fit a child since I was cursed to be the size of a child 😂😂😂

getting fitted for a new leg!

after waiting 5 years I’m finally getting a new leg.. my old prostheist kept giving me the same type of leg and I finally wanted something to help me live a more active lifestyle considering I wear my prosthetic up to 16 hours a day.. I am officially getting a suspension suction leg.. this is a completely new type of leg for me considering I’m using to the two liner vacuum seal leg (forgot what it’s called 😅) way different process than the last leg I got fitted for (5 years ago) I can’t believe everything was measured digitally almost!

Any advice on the new system I’ll be getting? I’m a bit nervous but super excited and hoping it’ll help me be a lot more active
