I'll always let them have 2-3 minutes of it as it's one of their favourite parts of going out. (And stops her chewing the plants at home 🙄)
She walked across the touchpad that controls our induction hob and then walked forward and kept her paw on the temperature control until it was at max before the sudden smoke made her jump off.
We'd left a plastic spoon and tray from yesterday evening on the stove top and have learned a valuable lesson that nothing is to be left there unmonitored going forward. Our only loss has thankfully been the tray and the spoon!
We had a new park open near us recently that is no dogs allowed with a large wild grass section. Our cats had a blast at it today.
He was getting up to come eat dinner but she was quicker as I turned to put something on the TV 😹 the camera couldn't even start recording quickly enough as he went after her. She stashed it in the bedroom quickly before continuing to be chased so she could go back for it later.
He was grumpy when I tore it up for her so it'd be easier to eat. Successful hunt for her.
No-one can tell her she's too old to get started 😸 at the end it was like taking a toddler home who didn't want to go inside yet.
She's always been a little grouchy but has recently enjoyed the journey to and from the vets and shown curiosity to explore.
First proper little trip out since her spay 😊 slowly getting back into action.
