- of which focuses solely on the experience and voice of creatives in industry and the community?
Myself and a few others are working on creating a new space focusing on education and high quality live performance, which would also be a hub for the arts; with food and drink available of course!
To begin this process I need to hear YOUR suggestions and feedback on my ideas! Once we have extensive feedback, I can send it to relevant funding bodies to make this dream of many a reality. To do this, I ask for 5 minutes of your time to fill out a Google form if you have worked in the entertainment industry in any capacity before- or are just a fan of the arts! There’s also much more information and description in the Google Form to read about our goals for the project.
If you have any questions, please message the instagram account: thejesteredinburgh
I encourage comments and discussion below this post also!
Thank you so much for your time.

Hey everyone, posting on behalf of my partner as he’s new to Reddit and can’t post here yet.
We’ve recently moved to Edinburgh from NZ and he’s keen to meet some new people locally.
He’s 30 and into things like pubs, walks, photography, sports, and history. He’s already had some luck meeting people through groups, but he would enjoy meeting some more easygoing people to grab a pint, go for a walk, or try some local food spots with.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, send me a message and I’ll put you in touch! ☺️
I witnessed a very disturbing assault in the town centre today involving a shop worker who was simply doing their job. The incident followed what appeared to be a shoplifting incident involving three males pictured.
Police Scotland have been notified, but I’m posting this to raise awareness for local businesses and staff in the area, as incidents like this are deeply concerning for both local workers and the wider community.
I’d also like to invite discussion: is anyone else becoming increasingly frustrated by the apparent lack of meaningful consequences for this kind of behaviour? Personally, I’m concerned that when violent or antisocial behaviour faces little deterrent, it can embolden further aggression, theft, and crime, further exacerbating concerns around public safety.
Local businesses, please stay vigilant, review security measures where possible, and report any suspicious or violent behaviour directly to Police Scotland.
Please do not approach or harass anyone pictured. If you have relevant information, pass it through the proper channels.
🧵 Daily/weekly updates will appear in the comments.
Edinburgh Airport is raising the drop-off fee to £8.50 which is just insane.
Has anyone asked to be dropped off at the free drop off point?
Did it once at the hotel nearby and the taxi driver seemed annoyed but at 8.50 which consumers will inevitably inherit. It feels more and more like a nessessity.
Are there any pubs that show the election results? Would enjoy sitting with a pint this afternoon watching the results come through, but cannot for the life of me find one saying they will. 🍻
These ads keep flashing up on the screens at Waverley steps? Any idea what the hell it’s for?
