I'm looking for places with good amenities like supermarkets, gyms, restaurants, hospitals, good roads, and a safe neighborhood.

What is the average rent for a 1 BHK or 2 BHK furnished apartment in those areas?

Which localities would you personally recommend for a working professional?

Are there any areas I should avoid?

Today I was this close to converting our biggest client ever ₹27,000 per month

Everything was set. Cook assigned. Trial confirmed for Tuesday.

Then it fell apart.

First they asked for the cook's Aadhaar card. Fine, understandable, safety concern. I explained we do full background verification on all our cooks and provide verified ID that's our process.

Then came the real reason.

They wanted to know the cook's caste. Said they couldn't have someone from a "lower caste" cooking food in their home.

I was completely heartbroken.

These are wealthy, educated people. They live in one of the most premium areas of Ahmedabad. By all appearances successful, modern, urban

And yet

I told them politely we don't discriminate based on caste and walked away from the deal.

But bhai it genuinely hurts. Not just the lost revenue. The fact that in 2025, with all the wealth and education in the world, people still think like this. That a person's ability to cook a beautiful meal is somehow determined by what family they were born into.

Our cooks are verified, trained, talented human beings. That's all that matters.

Here's my problem: my CA is from my hometown and is great at the usual stuff GST, tax filings, compliance. But when it comes to investor paperwork share allotment, SHA, MCA filings like PAS-3 I'm not sure they've done this before.

With an investor deal about to close, I don't want to mess up the cap table or miss any legal steps.

My questions:

1. Should I switch CAs entirely or just bring in a startup lawyer alongside my current one?

2. What documents should I absolutely make sure are in place before the investor signs anything?

3. Any recommendations In Jamnagar for CA firms or startup lawyers who specialize in early-stage Pvt Ltd investment rounds?
