How do Gujaratis identify a GSRTC bus's destination from so far away? 😭

I'm still trying to read the destination board, and locals already know exactly where it's going. Is this a skill or a superpower? 😂

Best app/site for full body health checkup at home in Gandhinagar?

Hi everyone,

I'm 21 years old and thinking about getting a complete full-body health checkup done for the first time.

Are there any trustworthy apps or websites in Gandhinagar that send someone to collect blood samples from home and provide a proper health report?

Also:

Which app/service do you recommend?

Is it actually worth doing at my age?

How was your experience with home sample

collection?

Are the reports accurate and reliable?

Any hidden charges or things I should know before booking?

Shout out to Gandhinagar

I would like to shout out to u/Status_Can3776
Why?
Because this little dumbo boy made a little stupid mistake in the developer section of reddit and posted for help. And i commented on it.
My comment landed me 3 job offers because technically i am a good developer (as per those 3 job offeree!!😂😂

But this is so sweet that one little mistake for a stranger made my day/career.

Coming to Gandhinagar, as a new person i thought it is going to be little tough but this dumbo boy just came as a blessing and he is now one of the first and few close friends.
Idk what to do for him but yeah a little shout out. 😂😂

Suggest me what should i do for him!😂
u/Status_Can3776 you can also directly suggest me! 😂😂

Have you ever tried the food here? The quality and hygiene are really good, and the prices are very affordable. I also found out that they have several food stalls like this across Gandhinagar. Definitely worth checking out!

Regarding ACPC Councelling

Hi everyone,

I'm participating in ACPC counselling and will most likely get these colleges for Electrical Engineering (EE):

  • LE Morbi
  • GEC Palanpur
  • GEC Patan
  • Government Engineering College (Shantilal Shah), Bhavnagar
  • GEC Godhra
  • GEC Dahod
  • Some private colleges (currently lower on my preference list)

Can anyone rank these colleges or suggest the best one based on placements, placement %, faculty, strict attendance criteria (if any), student peer group, GATE culture, hostel facilities/cleanliness, campus environment, city & industry exposure, and overall college life?

Here's what I've found so far (please correct me if I'm wrong):

  • LE Morbi: No hostel mess (students use tiffin), hostel cleanliness is said to be below average, but it's located in the main city. I also couldn't find reliable placement data.
  • Shantilal Shah, Bhavnagar: No hostel mess, campus is away from the city, reportedly strict 75% attendance, and placements seem quite low.
  • GEC Patan: Away from the city, with mixed reviews about hostel cleanliness.
  • However, I couldn't find enough reliable information about GEC Palanpur, Godhra, or Dahod.

I'd really appreciate honest reviews from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with these colleges. Thanks!

Embarrassing interview moment

So today I was taking virtual interviews today, and in the very first interview when I joined the candidate was already joined on WebEx, and mera camera default on tha muje pata nahi tha, even laptop pe camera clip bhi unfortunately open tha. And main part is i was wearing Baniyan and no shirt or tshirt 🥲 i quickly realised ke cam on he and I am visible in baniyan, as a reflex bandh karne ki jagah me desk me niche Beth Gaya taki dikhe na and then turned it off.

But I think the candidate might have seen me. Idk what she might have thought but I feel so so embarrassed.🥲
