I know pesto on a grilled cheese can be devisive but I didn't have any soup to pair with it so I thought it would be a good addition. Definitely making it again~
Trying out different versions of mint. Cinnamon didn't seem to work so I tried out the xfce version and I wasn;t a big fan of that so I would like to make a bootable usb for MATE edition but I can not for the life of me figure out how to do that on xfce edition.
I'm completely new to linux and switched over to Mint about a week ago since I was getting so fed up with Windows. I'm happy I made the switch but I've been having this issue since I made the switch and don't know how to fix it.
After my computer is running for a little while, maybe around an hour, the screen will flash to black. The mouse is still visible and I can move it around but I can't click on anything. This will last for a few seconds before the screen comes back and then it goes back to black again. It will flash back and forth until I restart the computer.
The only things I've tried so far to fix it have been restarting my pc (temporary fix), disabling visual effects (did not work), and changing between the 4 drivers available (also did not fix the problem). I've also installed and applet to track the pc temperature since my fan seems to be kicking in more often but the pc temp doesn't seem to correlate to the screen flashing on and off.

Been meaning to make the switch ages ago but just now had the time to do it. Still figuring out some things here and there since I've used nothing but Windows the past 20 years but so far I'm enjoying it!
I recently switched operating systems and forgot to make a back up of my bookmarks but my account is set to sync my bookmarks. When I logged on to my firefox account most everything synced except the bookmarks. Does bookmarks just take longer to sync or did I lose everything?
Edit: it looks like the bookmarks just took a sec to catch up, everything is there now!
