Finally got around to installing the ZTherapy Carbs and intake manifold a few weeks ago. They’re well worth the wait and miles better than the factory SU carbs. A few tweaks here and there to balance and tune them but the car is now idling perfect around 900 rpm with great response across the rpm range.

Some notes :

Yes, the water inlet on the intake has been removed and capped off. It’s 100 plus degrees outside and I am running a 180 degree thermostat and stock radiator with shroud with no temperature issues.

Build Date of 10/71.

Acquired by my dad in 1989 and restored over the years. Rebuilt original motor with less than 500 miles on it and original 4 spd transmission. Couldn’t let him sell it, so I acquired it this past fall.

I have a set of ZTherapy carbs and intake to throw on, but it’s been an absolute blast to drive here and there.
