Pray for a sister

As-Salaamu Alaikum walaalyaal

We are in the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, the best days of the year, and many of you are fasting and increasing in worship for the sake of Allah.

Please keep a sister in your sincere du’as. She lost her baby during childbirth and became paralyzed afterwards. Her family is going through an extremely difficult time.

May Allah grant her complete shifa, ease her suffering, reward her for every moment of pain, and reunite her with her child in Jannah. Ameen.

Please remember her in your prayers before iftar and during these blessed days.

Update

Alhamdulillah, we have sold the first book. Thank you to everyone who is supporting this cause.

Our goal is to sell 25 copies. Each pdf book is 20 USD. Once we reach this target, we will use the funds to buy clothes for 8 orphans who contacted me after we completed the last Eid project. They are still waiting, and we intend to keep our word.

Every single copy sold moves us closer to that goal.

We also have many other books available in different categories. If one title is not for you, choose another and still be part of the الخير.

Let’s not delay. 24 copies to go.

As-Salaamu Alaikum walaalyaal, Alhamdulillah, last night a generous brother donated $300 and a kind sister donated $13. May Allah bless them, protect their wealth, and multiply it for them.

Today her condition became critical. The pain became unbearable, and she asked me to take her to the hospital immediately. I took her to Baraka Hospital where she was seen by a doctor.

Her blood pressure was 190. For reference, 140 is already considered high, so 190 is extremely dangerous and puts her at serious risk. The doctor was visibly upset and asked why she was not brought earlier. I explained her financial hardship and the situation she has been facing. After hearing this, he kindly gave her a 30% discount card to help reduce the costs.

The medical report showed:

Very high blood pressure (190)

H. pylori positive (bacterial infection causing ulcers)

Ongoing stomach ulcer symptoms and inflammation

Signs of weakness and strain on her body

Elevated cholesterol (220)

Raised creatinine (1.41) indicating kidney strain

High platelet count (517)

Mild anemia (low hemoglobin 11.3)

After the 30% discount, we still paid $123 today for consultation, lab tests, and medication.

Please continue to keep her in your du’a.

If you would like to support, you can send your help to the details in the comments section. May Allah reward everyone who stands with her during this difficult time.

As-Salaamu Alaikum walaalyaal,

I’m writing to ask you to remember Mama Nimco again this month.

She is caring for three orphans, and for the past three days she has been very ill, which has made her situation even harder. When she cannot move properly, she cannot work. When she cannot work, there is no income coming in for the house.

This is the reality she is facing right now.

We managed to support her last month, Alhamdulillah. That support brought stability for a short time. Now we are starting again for this month.

Allah says:

“And whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah.”

(Qur’an 2:110)

Helping an orphan household is not just assistance, it is an investment in your Akhirah.

If you are able to stand with her this month, please check the top comment for details on how to help. Even small efforts matter when we act together.

May Allah ease her illness, protect the children, and reward everyone who supports them.

Abdiasis Sisi, also known as Sisi Creative, is a Somali content creator and businessman. Today I watched a video that really touched my heart.

In the video, he was thanking a woman who paid for his school fees for many years, until he was able to go to America. She did not only help him. She has also been paying school fees for two of his siblings. That kind of support is not small.

What made it even more special is that he did not just thank her online. He traveled all the way from Minnesota to Toronto to see her in person and say thank you.

That shows respect. That shows gratitude. Many people forget those who helped them once they succeed, but he did not.

As I was watching, I became emotional. It reminded me how important it is to appreciate people who stand with us when we have nothing. Success is not only about hard work. Sometimes it is because someone believed in you and sacrificed for you.

May Allah bless that woman for her kindness. And may we all remember to say “waad mahadsan tahay” to those who help us in life.
