This whole time I thought they hated Kaine because she was possessed by a shade which obviously doesn't justify what they did but at least makes sense as shades are dangerous and as far as they know the shade could go berserk at any moment so it makes sense that they wouldn't want her in the village.

Only now do I learn that they hated her long before the shade possession and the real reason they hated her was just because of her body which she had not control over. Fuck these bigots, fuck Dimo, Those fuckers deserved to get nuked, Kaine's grandma a real one FR. (Still only at the start of route B so if I got any details wrong please don't spoil)
