Chie is often unfairly considered to be the only unemployed member of the IT with Yukiko, Kanji and Rise all helping out their respected families businesses, Narukami potentially having any assortment of jobs, Yosuke and Teddie both being wage slaves to Junes and Naoto working as a detective leaving Chie the only member without a job. This is mostly correct however Naoto is technically unemployed for most of the game. Since Naoto is a private detective when she doesn't have an active case she is unemployed. She is brought onto the case in May and taken off it in August, which is only 4 months of the games 18 months (if you count the epilogue) all of which She did not have an active case making her barely more employed than Chie. (Naoto still clears though)
