Chromebooks, Android Apps, and Security

Whats everyone doing for Android apps on Chromebooks?

We've always had a hard no for past security issues, but we're starting to get push back from a few who want to or are already using Labster. They're having performance issues on Chromebooks and Labster's support is saying that we need to allow Android apps to fix that as the app just runs better that way.

So, what's the deal in 2026. Are we allowing it? I'd assuming whitelisting only the apps we need. Is it still a big security threat bypassing filters and what not? Anyone have experience with Labster?

What are everyone's thoughts?

Cherry Auction Booths

Hey everyone

My gf was thinking about getting a booth at the Cherry Auction to sell succulents and other plants since she already does it on fb marketplace.

I was reading up on how to get a booth but was wondering if anyone here has ever done it before and what their experience was like? Did you have to do anything special or get a business license?

I'm interesting in hearing others experiences

Thanks

What's one thing you have for fishing that you didn't realize would be really useful?

For me its these. They're magnetic fishing rod holders so you don't scratch the paint on your car (like I did on mine 😅).

A buddy gave them to me in the same colors to match my rods!

I'm wondering what other tools or devices others have that seem small or stupid like these magnet rod holders that others might have?

(The truck in the pic is my mine)

Edit: Here's where my buddy bought them. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1627873411768153
