Is there ANY stores where I can find Pokemon card etbs/boosters??

I’ve been meaning to get back into collecting cards but I don’t want to keep driving to different stores to see if they’ve restock on pokemon stuff or find out that they don’t have anything. I don’t want to overpay either at card shops because that’s just ridiculous. I’ve been mainly buying JP online but now even that is expensive too. I also don’t want to be those people who actively find out what time employees stock either. Everything being out of stock makes it hard to get back into this hobby 😭

Anyone else notice Heirloom's quality has gone downhill?

I was surprised as for the first time in the year or two I've been going to Heirloom it didn't have a line out the door. In fact there were only like 5 people in line, which if you know you know that is next to impossible for Heirloom. Usually the line is around the block. But I just thought I got lucky and ordered some food.

Well I didn't even finish my plate. It just tasted lower quality than usual, and the flavoring just wasn't what I've come to know Heirloom to be. We dropped $65 for two people which we don't usually mind for the quality of Heirloom, but the chicken I got was dry and bland, and my partner's sandwich was just kind of mid.

The worst part is how crummy we feel now after eating. Usually we feel great after eating at Heirloom, that's why we don't mind spending the extra $$ for the high quality food. But this time both of us had severe stomach aches and I actually felt like throwing up for about an hour, not from food poisoning, but just because, well you know how when you eat at Arby's in the first time in forever and your bathroom hates you for it? Like that..

Did Heirloom switch to Sysco? Is that why there's no line anymore? Sad if true. Heirloom used to be my automatic answer when people asked me a good spot to eat in Fresno, now I'm not so sure...

These were taken on my first and only time to attend this great event. You can view more here. If you know someone who participated in this even, please let them know about it.

Good places to get horchata?

I went to Houston, Texas, recently, and absolutely loved the horchata I got from one of the restaurants there. Ever since, I've been chasing that high with mediocre cup after cup. Does anyone know a good place? I'm closer to Clovis than Fresno, but at this point I'm desperate. Maybe I'll just make my own...

Fantastic weather!

There is a lot of negativity on this sub towards Fresno, so I try to highlight the good things. One of those good things is happening right now, with this beautiful weather we're having this week. So get outside, ride a bike, go for a walk, eat at your favorite spot, and enjoy this beautiful city. Don't let what other people may think steal the joy and love of your home. Despite what people on the internet may say, Fresno is still one of the greatest places on Earth.

Have a great week, Fresno!

Adult self defense classes?

Got into a bit of a issue yesterday and was assaulted at a 7-11 off the 99. Nothing happened to me but left me rattled and realizing I have no idea how to defend my self if need be. Are there any adult beginner self defense classes you’d recommend?

Downtown Fresno has a pretty good walk and bike score, according to Zillow

That's cool! I've always found downtown to be very enjoyable to walk and ride in.

CPS in Fresno county is trash

Have photo evidence video evidence and many phone calls to Fresno PD reporting incidents… kept getting told call CPS to report the abuse and neglect. CPS tells me since I don’t know the last name or correct spelling at least… it’s a FPD issue and CPS can’t do anything even with an address and evidence.

What’s the point of these services?? CHILDREN NEGLECTED AND ABUSED and in dangerous conditions…. I have escorted a 5 year old child back into their front door coming home at 2-3AM case they’re playing in the road front door wide open… but apparently not good enough because I don’t know his full name nor his parents full name. What's a cuisine Fresno is underrated for?

We all know Fresno has amazing Armenian and SE Asian food, and some of the best Mexican food in the entire nation, but what's a cuisine that Fresno doesn't get much notoriety for that it should? I'll go first below ⬇️

Average/normal rent cost in Fresno?

Hi everyone,
Renters, how much do you pay for rent a month?

My first time moving out and feeling nervous..
The apartment we looked is nice very quiet.. and spacious for a 1 bed 1 bath.. The property manager said it would be 1,300 a month we pay our own pg&e and water bill + 900 deposit.. unsure if this is normal

(Herndon area)

Any advice helps

Gaara Truck?!

Omg who is the absolute baddie that has Gaara on their truck?! I was driving this morning and saw it and was obsessed. I've had Gaara tattooed on my leg since 2013. I feel like we need to be friends. Lol I'm always out and about in Clovis/Fresno and have NEVER seen this truck before! I'm very excited. Lol
