Hi All.

I don't know how Fresno "runs" during the 4th of July, especially on the weekends.

Are most people off of work tomorrow? And should I expect more fireworks tonight? My dog is terrified and I don't want to be under prepared. Thanks! :)

Does anyone have recommendations for an independent house cleaner in the Fresno/Clovis area?

I don’t know if I’m just picky 😅, but I stopped using my last cleaner after I saw her use the same microfiber towel from the bathroom in the kitchen. There were more things like that, but I didn’t say anything because I figured we just had different cleaning styles. I’m really careful about cross contamination when cleaning, but I’m so pregnant right now and just don’t have the energy to do it myself anymore.

I’d love someone who’s detail oriented and pays attention to sanitation already.

Seriously, what the FUCK

Overnight Security Guard here. I was expecting to see fireworks until maybe 1 or 2. Possibly the few assholes who go until 3 in the morning

But there was this one person who was firing fireworks well into 5:00 in the morning.

I don't know WHAT leads a person to be so selfish that they'll set off fireworks until 5:00 in the morning.

I've gone to a Dick's and Wal-Mart in Clovis and they did not have anything. I've heard about them selling them somewhere on the side of the road on Blackstone. Is that true? Anywhere else i can buy one?

In fact this whole week was peak Downtown. July 2 was the art hop and that was gas. Tonight for July 4 was one of the best nights of my night. tons of great food, amazing fireworks, and super nice people having fun and dancing in the streets. I loved it. I hope downtown is like this year round soon!

I (stupidly) thought Walmart wouldn't be busy on the 4th of July. WRONG.

Thankfully, I made a grocery order and didn't need to go inside, however the grocery order pick up was also very busy. All the stalls were full.

All of the employees were not only hustling to get the orders out FAST, but they were extremely friendly.

All of my groceries were in date, fresh, and they put them in the bags nicely. I have never used grocery order pick up and was pleasantly surprised.

Hey everyone! I’ve recently gotten interested in collecting political campaign buttons and was wondering if anyone knows of good places to look around the Fresno or Merced area.

I’m open to anything! Antique stores, flea markets, thrift stores, estate sales, local collectible shops, or even random places you’ve stumbled across them. I’d love to find both older vintage buttons and newer campaign ones.
