Pangolin Pro 16 Battery Charging Levels How to set?

I am still new to the Pangolin Pro, not quite three weeks into mine, and I am just now getting to the point of thinking about part of the time wanting to set the lower and upper limits for battery charging.

A good bit of the time I am disconnected from the electrical cord, but there are times when I would like to use it with the power still connected but not taking the battery up to 100% charge and then leaving the power connected.

It could be that the device is so new that the System76 documentation site hasn't been updated yet and after looking through that and doing some searches on the Internet I think I have managed to confuse myself at this point.

In looking at the System76 Open Firmware page I don't see a listing for the Pangolin Pro 16. The System76 Battery Thresholds page doesn't list my model either and it doesn't see that the system76-power command doesn't work either as the system tells me it is not using the System76 firmware with change threshold support.

I know with a new model it takes time to get information posted, so I was just curious is there a way to set battery charging limits? If there isn't it's alright as I have used laptops before without having this type of feature so I can certainly continue on without it.

Pangolin Pro is awesome at almost two weeks in

My first System76 machine and my first Linux laptop. I am almost two weeks into ownership of it and am finding it an awesome experience. I have used Unix systems for work before, even loaded earlier versions of Linux on old home computers of mine when other operating systems became too slow or could no longer be updated. So I am familiar with Linux to an extent but know I have more to learn.

For new users like me here are a couple of things I have observed and do to resolve them. Neither of these are a problem with System76 or the device as after doing a lot of research it seems these can be common issues with Linux machines in general.

When using a cell phone hot spot, it is best to connect it to the laptop with a USB cable and turn on the cell phones USB Tethering option. I tried several times to use my actual hot spot in wireless mode and never had luck in getting a stable connection no matter how I configured its settings.

When at home I had a stable WIFI connection with my internet router, but when I paired a bluetooth mouse and started using it both the mouse and the internet connection would become unstable. Once I turned bluetooh off and used a different mouse that has a USB transmitter/receiver my WIFI connection at home became stable again. I am guessing the bluetooth mouse I have isn't all that great as it was pretty cheap so no hard done in using a different one.

I am sure I will have questions later as I continue working to make this laptop my primary one, just taking it a step at a time and enjoying the journey as I go.
