I have been trying to grow out my hair for the first time in my life its been about 11 months now, I did decide to fade the sides and back because it grows in a different texture. The top i like though so I've let it grow. Im used to pretty much just leave in and gel but its not coming out right anymore as you can see from the pic. Wondering what I should do next, im not sure if its long enough to row down yet but im eventually going for having it braided and in a top knot, ill post a pic for reference, how far do you think i am from that goal
